Happy New Year
Dr. Gregg Thomas
In less than 14 hours the clock of time will turn over to a new year. 2025 is almost over. The record of your life for this year is written. No more time for a do-over. Unfinished tasks will remain unfinished. The things you intended to do for God or for others will remain just that- good intentions that were never fulfilled. But a new year beckons. A clean slate. An opportunity to fulfill promises you have made. Corrections to the things that need to be improved. A fresh start. What will you do for God and others in 2026? What blessings await you in this new year? What challenges will the new year bring? Will you hear our Lord whisper "well done" in your ear at this moment a year from today? What will be written in the book of your life in 2026 awaits.
Remember this as we start the new year: Jesus Christ resides in your heart if you have accepted Him as your Saviour. He has one assignment to carry out in your life in 2026. This assignment is to complete God's will in your life! "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it" until the day you go home to be with Him forever. He is as determined to complete God's will in you as He was to complete God's will for Himself when He was on this earth. You will have to resist Jesus to stay out of the will of God! If God's will is not being fulfilled in your life then it is because you have areas of your life that you have not given to Him. Why not entrust these areas to Jesus? Let Him complete the Father's work in you in 2026 and you will be pleasantly surprised at what He will do in, through, and for you.
