The Balmoral Banner - June 2026

His Banner Over Me Is Love — Song of Solomon 2:4

FROM THE PASTOR
“Summertime, summertime, sum..sum..summertime, it’s summertime.” After a winter with
an ice storm, sleet, snow, and extended power outages. After a spring of drought and
rollercoaster temps, we are now heading into summer. The weeks will pass quickly, but the
days of summer will be eventful. Makenna Beck will be our student ministry intern (for
children and teens) for 10 weeks, from now until the start of the new school year. We will
have a Wednesday night program for children, a Sunday Night Program for Teens, and other
events. You can read about some of these and the schedule, age groups, etc., on the next
page of our “Balmoral Banner.” Why do we need to reach and minister to children? One
reason is that children need to learn about Jesus. It is a proven fact that it is easier for a
child to accept Jesus as their Savior than it is if they wait until they are adults. Another
reason is that children are often the key to reaching parents. Every child deserves a
Christian home. As we reach the parents, we will start to see more homes becoming
Christian homes! And that will be a blessing.

Thank you for working to get people to church for our Friend/Family Day. Your hard work
resulted in a worship attendance of 57. Of this number, 11 were first-time visitors! Praise
the Lord. We also welcome our newest church member, Dwight Holliday, who joined on
May 24!
